Review of the RadioLabs aFire Amplified Antenna for the Airport Extreme

Two words: it works! My iMac is on the 2nd floor of my home, and the Airport Extreme is on the first. Before getting the aFire wifi speed was around 10 Mbps and there were frequent stalls. With the airport, speed is 32 Mbps and there is never a hitch. I previously tried adding an Airport Express in between the Airport Extreme and the iMac, but that yielded marginal improvement. This antenna is a real gem, but it is hard to find: I took a gamble in ordering it from the manufacturer RadioLabs and am very glad I did!
