If you are drowning in stacks of papers, the ScanSnap is the answer to your prayers. It scans both sides of a page simultaneously, and the automatic paper feeder reliably handles 50 page documents. The result is saved as a PDF file, with all the pages automatically rotated properly. The speed is astounding, less than 2 seconds a page (or 1 second per side!). I junked my HP flatbed with sheet feeder scanner after getting the ScanSnap. You can buy it for under $450 from Dell.com.
